I do not have such an issue. Have a look at <code>/var/log/syslog</code> and <code>/var/log/messages</code> for clues about what's going on. I'm having a problem with my Lenovo 3000 n200 0769 wifi connection. The default network icon (the world on the bottom panel) sees the local wifi access points. It will allow me to click on mine and start to configure it. When I hit the advance button to enter the wep password, it kills the program. The other wifi tools included don't see the wifi connection at all.I'm not sure what program is running on the tool bar at the start. I'll report back as I know more. I’m glad yours went well.
