V-2 Rocket Hits London

Developed by Germany during WWII, the Vergeltungswaffe 2 (V-2) Rocket was the world's first modern ballistic missile and the first artificial object to achieve suborbital spaceflight. Unmanned and internally guided, the V-2 traveled at supersonic speeds that allowed it to reach its target in silence. Approximately 20,000 slave laborers died producing the rockets for Germany, and 7,000 civilians perished during more than 3,000 attacks on allied targets. What does Vergeltungswaffe mean?

Exabytes

An exabyte is a unit of information or computer storage equal to one quintillion bytes—an amount roughly represented by the number 1 followed by 18 zeros. Though the term is rarely encountered in any practical context, a popular, hotly contested assertion, which often cites as support a project at the UC Berkeley School of Information, is that "all words ever spoken by human beings" can be represented by approximately 5 exabytes of data. What is meant by the related term "exaflood"?
